I am first, a follower of Jesus Christ. I am married to the most beautiful and incredible woman in the world, my wife Melissa. She is way smarter, better-looking and cooler than me. She challenges and encourages me, as a man and a man of God, like no one else can. God has blessed me very much. We have both grown up in the Metro-Detroit area and we continue to love it here.
I am in full-time ministry and have been for almost 6 years now. I got my start in ministry at the church I grew up in, Highland Park Baptist Church of Southfield, MI. I worked and worshipped there for about 3 years as an intern in the youth ministry and I also filled various other roles. From Highland Park, my wife and I, transitioned to Community Bible Church in Brighton, MI to be the pastor of middle school ministries. We are still here at CBC and we have loved every second of it. I felt God’s call on my life to be in full-time church ministry when I was in middle school and I have pursued that calling ever since. My wife and I love being part of the local church and we are humbled and privileged to call ourselves friends of God.
